As a triple water sign with a natal Cancer moon born on a moonday at moon hour just days before it blotted out the sun in a total solar eclipse, I consider my watery moon a last-minute gift from my ancestors who watched my family flee Lebanon during the war that dropped a bomb on their bedroom just after they left. I was born a couple weeks later (in a country free from war who instead funds genocide) as a descendant of the sole survivor of the Armenian Genocide in my great grandmother’s family. Her mother asked a Turkish neighbor to take her in before she and the rest of her family were killed.
A descendant of grief and twice removed from Armenia, my Cancer moon squares my chart ruler and dominant planet conjunct my rising—Pluto. I sometimes think my moon is why I survived my birth. I almost didn’t make it. That and, it’s out of bounds—the moon was beyond the plane of the earth’s orbit around the sun when I was born. Astro.com describes this as having, “a reputation for behaving in original, unusual or eccentric ways.” I might’ve been born cross-eyed (took ‘unusual’ a bit literally) but I wasn’t going out like that—right when I got here? After ALLATHAT?! Nah. Not me.
I might be a solar eclipse but I’m also always a soft moon rising. After a couple surgeries, I still may not see in 3D but I see a lot more than that.
My moon is soft. It’s savage. It’s erotic. I consider Cancer Season mine. So, of course, I’ve written your Eroscope for this quality of time. A gift of erotic nurturance from my moon to your rising.
Check your rising sign below. An Eroscope is a horoscope written by sacred erotic charge to open you to a quality of intimacy and depth of power that is your birthright. The erotic is meant to be lived. It is a lie that we must save it for stolen moments.
I’ve also created a custom-eroticized Affantasy for each Eroscope. This is a mashup of affirmation + fantasy created through an apothecary of erotic words based on bibliomancy, intuition and desire and is written to empower your meditation through the “I” perspective. Deepen into fantasizing your Affantasy, whether it’s staring into a candle flame or staring into the erotic space between sips of coffee. I’ve included your Bibliomancy as well.
All bibliomancy is from The Crack in the Cosmic Egg: New Constructs of Mind and Reality by Joseph Pearce.
Enjoy.
